Target audience:

This workshop is for conductors with prior choral experience who want to improve their technical and rehearsal techniques. This event is perfect for individuals leading community choirs, church choirs, school choirs, and instrumental groups.

Description:

Develop a greater gestural vocabulary. Give better and clearer verbal instructions. Learn to hold more efficient rehearsals and develop better ensemble. Use your left hand efficiently and appropriately. Develop expressive conducting.

Details:

During the workshop, you will learn to refine your conducting skills, develop more expressive, relaxed and easier to read gestures. You will learn rehearsal pacing for faster and better results. You will learn basic vocal techniques and warm-ups to help your singers sing better, produce a warmer and more grounded tone without fatigue. You will also learn about different intonation systems and how to solve tuning problems.
